There is so much beauty we can miss when we're moving too quickly.
Slow Down and Smell the Roses was created with loose, expressive layers of soft pink, fresh garden greens, and subtle golden details. Rather than carefully defining every petal and leaf, I allowed the flowers to remain free and imperfect—capturing more of the feeling of the blooms than every individual detail.
The familiar phrase “slow down and smell the roses” feels like more than a saying to me. It is an invitation to become present.

To appreciate what is already here.
To leave a little room for beauty in the middle of ordinary life.
The overflowing arrangement and softly rendered vessel give this piece a light, almost garden-like movement, while the open background allows the flowers room to breathe.
