My Story: How Jesus Turned My Life Into a Garden

A gentle journey from shadows to beauty, guided by His presence.

Painterly devotional artwork of a woman in a wide-brimmed hat surrounded by soft pink roses and green foliage, rendered in warm, muted tones, representing Christian faith, gentle presence, and spiritual stillness.

Where the Seed Was Planted

I’ve been creating since I was small — filling pages with flowers, colors, and little worlds of my own.
I didn’t know then that Jesus was already planting something deep in me.
Creativity was my safe place, my joy place, the space where I felt most myself.
It was the beginning of a lifelong conversation with Him… long before I even knew He was speaking.

The Years of Quiet Survival

There were seasons that felt heavy and hollow.
Years when I lived in survival mode — disconnected from my body, my needs, and my voice.

Grief, trauma, and loss shaped parts of my life in ways I didn’t yet have language for.
I was moving through life, but not fully in it.

And still — Jesus was there.
Even when I couldn’t feel Him, He was tending seeds beneath the surface.
He never stopped seeing me.
He never stopped whispering hope.

During those years, photography became my quiet refuge.

Through a lens, I could notice beauty without needing to explain myself.
I could frame moments, hold them gently, and keep a safe distance from my own heart.
It allowed me to see when I wasn’t yet able to fully feel.

After my daughter was born, photography became even more meaningful.
I began collecting memories — not only for my own family, but for others.

It mattered deeply to me, perhaps because I didn’t have a complete photograph of my own parents together before their divorce.
In some quiet way, I was preserving what I longed for — wholeness, belonging, continuity.

Photography carried me through.
But it was not the end of the story.

Where Jesus Met Me

He met me in the stillness — in the quiet corners of homemaking, motherhood, and creativity.
He didn’t rush me.
He didn’t demand I be more or perform better.
He simply sat with me, breathed with me, and slowly brought my heart back to life.

And somehow… He did it through color.
Through texture.
Through painting.

Little by little, He invited me into a new way of creating —
with Him, not for Him.

Blooming Into Purpose

Today, every piece I create is a prayer, a breath, a moment with Him.
My art is a glimpse into the peace He has given me —
the peace I pray every woman feels when she encounters my work.

I create gentle, devotional art in blush and sage tones,
rooted in Scripture
and filled with the nearness of Jesus.

Whether it's through a painting, a mug, a wallpaper, or a moment inside the Art Club —
my heart is to help you slow down, breathe again, and meet Him in the quiet beauty of your own life.
