There are seasons when we fill every available space.
Our calendars. Our homes. Our minds. Even the quiet places inside us.
Room to Breathe came together differently.
As I painted these loose pink blooms gathered inside their vessel, I found myself allowing more of the canvas to remain open. I didn't need to fill every space or define every petal.
The flowers could simply be there.
Soft pinks, muted greens, touches of blue, and expressive marks come together without needing to compete for attention. There is movement and beauty, but there is also space.
And I think we need both.
Sometimes making room is not about something being missing. It is about creating space for what matters most.
Space to notice.
Space to receive.
Space to breathe.
Room to Breathe is a reminder that beauty does not always need more. Sometimes it needs enough space around it to simply be seen.
