Kept by Love was created during a live painting session—an experience that invited me to paint with freedom, trust my instincts, and allow the piece to unfold in the moment.
Working live leaves less room for overthinking. Each brushstroke becomes part of the process, and this piece came together through loose layers of pink, garden greens, soft blue, and expressive touches of gold.
The oversized blooms seem to spill from the vessel while the vessel itself anchors the composition below.
As the painting developed, I loved the idea of something beautiful being both free to bloom and securely held.
Kept by Love became a quiet reminder that we can continue to grow, change, and bloom while still being held and cared for along the way.
