First Blooms Beginning
First Blooms Beginning was created alongside two other floral paintings as I explored a similar idea across different canvas sizes.
There was a growing confidence in my approach as I painted these pieces—less hesitation, more freedom, and a willingness to trust the marks as they unfolded.
Loose pink blooms, deep garden greens, soft blue, and expressive golden lines come together in this small original, capturing the energy of flowers beginning to open.
For me, this piece is a little reminder that confidence often grows the same way a garden does—not all at once, but through continuing to show up, create, experiment, and trust the process.
