Workshop & Event Policy

WORKSHOP & EVENT POLICY

Last updated: August 6, 2026

This Policy applies to creative workshops, painting experiences, Blooms by Jesus gatherings, worship gatherings, online events, private events, pop-up experiences, and other programs offered directly by Jennifer Mehling or Blooms by Jesus.

Additional event-specific terms may be included on a registration page, ticket, confirmation email, venue agreement, or separate participant form. When an event-specific term conflicts with this general Policy, the event-specific term will control.

1. Nature of the Experience

Blooms by Jesus gatherings are faith-centered creative worship experiences designed to provide space for reflection, creativity, Scripture, prayer, and artistic expression.

Unless expressly described otherwise, an event is not:

* Licensed counseling

* Medical or mental-health treatment

* Art therapy

* Crisis intervention

* Pastoral counseling

* A substitute for professional care

No particular creative, emotional, spiritual, physical, or personal result is promised.

2. Registration

A space is reserved only after:

* Required registration information has been submitted.

* Payment has been successfully completed.

* You receive a confirmation.

Spaces may be limited and are generally available on a first-registered basis.

Do not attend an event without confirmation unless the event is expressly advertised as accepting walk-ins.

3. Participant Information

Participants must provide accurate registration and contact information.

Important accessibility, allergy, mobility, sensory, or accommodation requests should be submitted as early as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to assist but cannot guarantee that every request can be fulfilled at every venue.

4. Age Requirements

The minimum age for participation will be stated in the event description.

A parent or legal guardian must register a minor and complete any required permission, emergency-contact, photography, pickup, or liability forms.

Unless an event is specifically described as a drop-off program, a responsible adult may be required to remain present.

5. Participant Cancellations

Registration fees are refundable when written cancellation is received at least seven calendar days before the event, less any disclosed nonrefundable processing fees.

When cancellation is received fewer than seven days before the event, the registration fee is nonrefundable. At our discretion, the participant may be offered:

* A transfer to another person

* A credit toward a future eligible event

* A transfer to another available date

Credits and transfers are not guaranteed.

A participant who does not attend and does not provide notice is not entitled to a refund, credit, kit, or transfer.

6. Registration Transfers

You may request to transfer your registration to another person at least 48 hours before the event.

The replacement participant must meet any age or eligibility requirements and may be required to submit registration information or sign applicable forms.

7. Event Changes or Cancellation

We may cancel, postpone, relocate, reschedule, modify, or convert an event to an online format due to:

* Severe weather

* Illness

* Emergency

* Venue problems

* Safety concerns

* Insufficient registration

* Supply delays

* Circumstances outside our reasonable control

When we cancel an event and do not offer a suitable replacement date, registration fees paid directly to us will be refunded.

We are not responsible for unrelated expenses, including travel, lodging, childcare, missed work, meals, or transportation.

8. Weather

Weather decisions will be based on available forecasts, venue requirements, travel conditions, local emergency guidance, and the safety of participants and facilitators.

Participants are responsible for deciding whether their personal travel conditions are safe.

When an event proceeds as scheduled, a participant who chooses not to attend remains subject to the normal cancellation policy unless otherwise announced.

9. Arrival and Late Attendance

Please arrive at the time listed in your confirmation.

Late arrival may reduce your creative time and may interrupt the experience of other participants. We cannot guarantee that missed instruction, worship, demonstrations, or activities can be repeated.

A significantly late participant may be unable to join certain activities for safety or logistical reasons. Late arrival does not entitle the participant to a refund.

10. Supplies and Artwork

Unless otherwise stated, the registration price includes the supplies listed in the event description.

Materials, dimensions, brands, surfaces, flowers, colors, refreshments, demonstrations, and examples may be substituted when reasonably necessary.

Each participant’s artwork will be unique. Examples and demonstrations are inspiration, not a promise of an identical result.

Participants are responsible for transporting completed artwork safely after the event.

11. Clothing and Personal Property

Art materials may stain clothing and personal belongings. Participants should wear appropriate clothing and use provided protective materials when available.

We are not responsible for damage to clothing, phones, purses, vehicles, furniture, or personal property caused by ordinary participation, spills, paint, water, tools, or other art materials, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.

12. Allergies and Health Considerations

Events may involve paint, adhesives, flowers, plants, fragrances, food, beverages, latex, cleaning products, or other common materials.

Participants are responsible for reviewing available information and determining whether participation is appropriate.

Notify us of relevant allergies or accommodation needs before the event. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free or fragrance-free environment unless expressly stated.

Food and refreshments are offered as a courtesy. Participants with food allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical concerns should exercise independent judgment and may bring an appropriate personal alternative when permitted by the venue.

13. Voluntary Participation and Safety

Participation in creative, reflective, prayer, discussion, movement, or group activities is voluntary.

Participants may quietly decline an activity, provided doing so does not create a safety issue or materially disrupt the event.

Participants agree to:

* Follow reasonable safety instructions.

* Use tools and materials as directed.

* Treat others respectfully.

* Avoid threatening, harassing, discriminatory, destructive, or dangerous behavior.

* Supervise minors when required.

* Inform the facilitator of spills, injuries, or safety concerns.

We may require a participant to leave without refund when behavior creates a safety risk, substantially disrupts the event, damages property, or violates venue rules.

14. Faith-Based Content

Blooms by Jesus gatherings openly include Christian faith elements, which may include:

* Scripture

* Prayer

* Worship music

* Personal testimony

* Spiritual reflection

* Conversation about Jesus and the Holy Spirit

Participation remains voluntary. No participant is required to speak, pray aloud, disclose personal information, or create artwork with particular words or imagery.

15. Personal Sharing and Confidentiality

Participants may choose to share personal reflections during a gathering.

We encourage kindness and discretion, but we cannot guarantee that other participants will maintain confidentiality. Participants should avoid sharing information they would not want repeated outside the event.

Facilitators may be legally or ethically required to take action when there is a credible concern involving abuse, immediate danger, or another matter requiring reporting.

16. Photography and Recording

Events may be photographed or recorded for documentation and promotion.

Participants may request not to be intentionally featured by notifying the facilitator at check-in. We will make reasonable efforts to honor that request, although we cannot guarantee exclusion from every wide-angle crowd image at a public event.

Separate written permission should be obtained before prominently featuring a minor.

Participants may photograph their own artwork unless instructed otherwise. They may not photograph, record, or livestream another participant’s personal sharing without that person’s permission.

17. Intellectual Property

Workshop demonstrations, written instructions, handouts, devotionals, templates, videos, recordings, photographs, designs, and teaching materials remain the intellectual property of Jennifer Mehling unless otherwise stated.

A registration grants the participant a limited right to use the materials for personal, noncommercial creative participation.

Materials may not be:

* Resold

* Republished

* Distributed

* Uploaded as a course

* Used to teach a paid workshop

* Copied for a group

* Used to create competing instructional products

* Used for artificial-intelligence training

Participants retain ownership of the individual artwork they personally create, subject to any preexisting rights in instructional designs or licensed imagery.

18. Online Events

For online events, participants are responsible for:

* Internet access

* Compatible technology

* A suitable workspace

* Required supplies

* Following login instructions

* Protecting access links

Access links may not be shared with unregistered individuals.

Replays, when offered, will remain available only for the period stated in the event description.

Technical issues affecting one participant do not automatically entitle that participant to a refund, although reasonable troubleshooting assistance may be provided.

19. Assumption of Ordinary Risk

Participants understand that creative activities may involve ordinary risks, including minor cuts, splinters, stains, slips, allergic reactions, or contact with art materials.

By voluntarily participating, attendees accept the ordinary and foreseeable risks of the activity, except where liability cannot legally be waived or limited.

Separate waivers may be required for particular venues, activities, retreats, or programs involving minors.
