Creating art that invites you to slow down and notice what is often overlooked.

Inspired by beauty, light, nature, and faith, each original painting is created with the hope that it brings peace, wonder, and lasting beauty into the spaces where it lives.

Welcome to My Studio

In the studio, where each piece begins with presence and prayer.

Every painting begins with attention. Sometimes it is light, flowers, scripture, color, or a quiet moment with Jesus. My hope is that each piece invites you to slow down, notice beauty, and bring peace into the spaces where you live.

FIRST BLOOMS COLLECTION

A beginning in faith, wonder, and quiet beauty.

Watercolor palette, coffee mug, plants, and artwork on Jennifer Mehling’s studio table for the First Blooms collection.

First Blooms began in small moments of color, prayer, and wonder.

From the Studio

Before a finished painting, there are layers of color, messy palettes, water jars, quiet decisions, and moments of trust. These small studio details are part of the story behind each piece.

Even the water jar carries evidence of the work.

A beginning layer of color, before the full story appears.

The palette often tells part of the story before the painting is finished.

Why I Paint

I paint because beauty is worth paying attention to. My work is inspired by flowers, light, healing, faith, and the quiet details we often overlook. Every piece is created with the hope that it brings peace, wonder, and reminders of God’s goodness into the spaces where it lives.

Things I Notice

Sometimes a painting begins with one bloom.

A single bloom. A shift of color. Light touching petals. These are the kinds of small details that often become the beginning of a painting.
